|OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
|Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club is
open to the public from January through April for winter
Trap, Skeet, and Bullseye Pistol leagues. Click Here for details.
Beyond the league schedule, our public hours of operation are:
Sunday 10am to 3pm*
This open shooting time will give you access to our trap and skeet fields.
If you are the guest of a member who is accompanying you, you can access the outdoor rifle and pistol range
(with backstops at 25, 50, 100 and 200 yards).
The cost for all this?
Only $10/hour for the rifle and pistol range.
Just $5/round for trap or skeet.
($4/round for members)
We will have someone available to pull trap & skeet and keep score if you wish.*
Bring your own guns and ammo; we have shotgun shells available
for purchase for 12 and 20 gauge.
If you'd like to try our ranges, our address is 8731 Riverside Dr, Saranac, MI
*: call first (616-642-9800) from Oct-Dec to verify someone can open the fields for you.
"What if I want to shoot at the outdoor range some other time?"
Become a member, of course!
"What's involved in that?"
To become a member, a person needs to attend 3 monthly meetings (consecutive preferred, but not strictly necessary) and then they are voted on by the full members--we want to get to know you and give you ample opportunity to see what the club is all about and who we are. Our monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 8pm and typically last 30 to 90 minutes.
A Social Membership is $125/year with a $5 deposit for a gate key (gate to outdoor range; open 9am - dusk) and no work hours required. Dues are reduced to $85 with 12 hours worked. Senior social membership (62 and retired) is $55. Juniors (14 to 18) are $12.50. All new members start out as Social Members.
$5 of your dues provides a membership in MUCC.
